An in-between style, varietal as it should be, crisp, invigorating and aniseed-flavored, but also with substance, salinity, a hint of chocolate and some lovely candied fruit on the mid-palate. We love the lingering finish, which turns to English candy and wriggles on the palate.

The estate is located in the commune of Arbanats, within the Graves appellation. The Reynaud family has run this 65-hectare estate for several generations. Philippe and Fabrice represent the fifth generation. In addition to Château des Places, they have also acquired several Graves properties, including Château Lugaud in 2009 and Château Lagrange in 2015. They have also set up a wine and spirits distribution company to develop their marketing activities.
