Ripe and toasty, the nose opens with aromas of toasted bread and sesame, enhanced by fresh fruit (pear, peach, apricot, plum). After a gentle attack, the evanescent bubbles quickly give way to a full-bodied texture, with hints of ripe pear. The dosage coats the palate with softness on the finish.

Veuve Doussot

The fruit of centuries of hard work, the brand was created in the early 1970s by Georges Joly and his sons. A family history that continues today with Stéphane Joly, who looks after the vineyards and cellars located in the heart of the Côte des Bar, in the charming village of Noé-les-Mallets. The 7-hectare vineyard, planted mainly with Pinot Noir grapes, is perched on the Blu plateau, the highest point in the Champagne wine region. Stéphane and his wife Nathalie offer two self-catering cottages.
