The Chardonnay is clearly present, with its aromas of white-fleshed fruit and country flowers. The freshness of the bouquet awakens the nostrils, but without aggressiveness, before evolving towards riper notes of yellow peach and apricot. The palate is all springtime freshness, with a very pleasant, even seductive, sunny side. The ripeness of the grapes meant that no dosage was required. Salinity and fresh spices follow through to the finish.

Thévenet-Delouvin

Winegrowers for three generations, the Thévenet-Delouvin family has invested in two terroirs in the Marne valley, covering some 9 hectares, including 7 hectares of Pinot Meunier, to blend grapes from the right and left banks. Isabelle joined her husband, Xavier Thévenet, on the farm in 2005. Certified HVE (haute valeur environnementale) level 3 and VDC (viticulture durable en Champagne), the estate offers a gîte as well as guest accommodation in a renovated vineyard hut. New coteaux-champenois cuvées were launched in 2023.
