Robert-Allait
Established five generations ago in Villers-sous-Châtillon, in the Marne valley, the estate is run by Sylvie and Régis Robert, supported by their daughter and son-in-law. The 14-hectare vineyard is spread over the southern slopes of the river, between Dormans and Épernay, in six different communes. The majority grape variety is obviously Pinot Meunier, as in many estates, except that here several exclusive cuvées are made from it. The estate has obtained HVE (high environmental value) and VDC (sustainable viticulture in Champagne) certifications and, in 2018, decided to install beehives on its vineyards to promote biodiversity. The resulting honey jars are also on sale in their online store and at the estate.
