A lovely, elegant nose of fresh red fruit, opulent purple flowers and a pinch of white pepper. On the palate, the well-coated tannins balance the fresh, full-bodied aromas of red fruits, spices and soft wood. The peppery finish, long and persistent, makes you want to prolong the conversation.

With around 90 appellations, the Joseph Drouhin winery in Beaune offers a discovery of Burgundy's terroirs. In the same family for 140 years, it is now run by Frédéric, with his sister Véronique in charge of vinification and his brother Philippe in charge of the vines. Despite the size of their vineyard (73 ha), the Drouhins have opted for an organic and biodynamic approach. Today, the house is one of the most prestigious in Burgundy.
