The nose is slightly toasted on opening, but after aeration, it opens up to lovely aromas of white flowers, pineapple and marzipan. On the palate, a lovely texture gives the impression of biting into fresh fruit. The finish remains salivating, with a hint of woodiness that will soften in a year or two.
