Georges Dubœuf, considered the "King of Beaujolais", founded his company in 1964 in Romanêche-Thorins. Now run by his heirs, Dubœuf sources his wines from over 400 growers, producing an estimated 30 million bottles a year. Its labels are easily recognized by their floral ornamentation. Opened in 1993 in the same village, the Hameau Dubœuf vine and wine museum attracts tens of thousands of visitors every year.
