Gault&Millau's review 2026

A nose typical of the Grolleau grape variety, with aromas of strawberry jam, pepper, and licorice. On the palate, the wine is full of freshness with notes of blackcurrant and morello cherry, accented by white and black pepper. Light tannins provide structure and length. Complex yet undeniably drinkable. You’ll want more.

Les Longues Vignes
Les Longues Vignes
The return of vineyards to Brittany is no longer a pipe dream, and among the pioneers of this revival, Les Longues Vignes is at the forefront, with plantings carried out between 2019 and 2022 using organic farming practices. While the estate’s headquarters are in Plerguer, the vineyards are located in the commune of Saint-Jouan-des-Guérets on the banks of the Rance River. Across 4 hectares, 6 grape varieties grow side by side: Chardonnay, Grolleau, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Blanc, and Portugais Bleu. The resulting lineup is still limited, but the few cuvées offered are exciting.
