The same blend as the Cuvée Sélection (40% Pinot Meunier, with equal parts Chardonnay and Pinot Noir), but with 70% mature wines from the 2013 harvest blended with a barrel-aged Solera. The entire cuvée undergoes vinification in wood, with a nose that is both vinous and fresh, punctuated by notes of citron. The palate is delicate and velvety, marked by the noble bitters of the ageing process, which do not mask a thirst-quenching finish. Wait until lobster season is in full swing for a perfect match.

Gilbert Jacquesson

The estate is located in Troissy, and its history began in 1926 with Henri and Clémence Michel, mixed-crop farmers who decided to make wine from their own grapes. The estate was passed down from mother to daughter until 2004, when Jean-Baptiste Jacquesson, representing the fourth generation, took over with his partner Valérie. The 7-hectare vineyard consists mainly of Meunier, the Marne Valley’s favorite grape variety, complemented by Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and, more recently, Petit Meslier. Jean-Baptiste and Valérie also offer two guest rooms for visitors to explore the region.
