The Liger-Belair family has been established in Nuits-Saint-Georges since the 18th century. Formerly a wine merchant, Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair was created in 2001. It now covers 9 hectares between Gevrey-Chambertin and Nuits-Saint-Georges. The entire estate is farmed organically, and biodynamic principles have been applied since 2004.
