The niellucciu fully expresses itself with notes of strawberry, cherry and roasting. The tasting starts with a lovely sensation of suavity, then gains in breadth with the presence of tannins that add a little chewiness. The black fruit and spice finish also reveals a few woody touches. A lovely wine, both classic and effective.

Domaine Montemagni

The Montemagni family has been cultivating vines since 1850. Located in the heart of the Patrimonio appellation, their wines express all the richness of Corsica's limestone hills. With 78 hectares of vineyards - including 59 certified organic since 2016 in AOP and 19 in IGP - the estate cultivates endemic grape varieties such as niellucciu, vermentinu and muscat petit grain.
