Domaine de Châtenoy

Gault&Millau's review
The Clément family has been making wine in Menetou-Salon since 1560. The house on the Châtenoy estate was built in 1884 by the great-great-grandfather of the current generation. Anne and Pierre-Alexandre have taken over from their parents, Isabelle and Pierre, and look after some 60 hectares of vines. These are divided between the Domaine de Châtenoy in Menetou-Salon and the Domaine du Clos Saint-Martin in the Sancerre appellation. The entire vineyard is farmed organically, and has been certified since 2023.
