Gault&Millau's review
Jean-Louis Pétillat, winegrower for 40 years, is the fourth generation to own this estate in the Saint-Pourçain appellation. Domaine de Bellevue comprises 22 hectares of vines, including the famous tressallier, a native grape variety. Half the vines are over 30 years old, and are cultivated with careful attention to soils and yields, to produce quality grapes.
