A reduced nose at first, which then opens up to toasty, mineral and floral notes. The palate is racy and chiselled, with a dominant but not excessive woodiness. A still young wine that can wait and accompany a fine blanquette de veau.

Domaine Cornin Dominique

Dominique and Romain Cornin, the two brothers, farm just over 10 hectares around the typical Mâconnais village of Chaintré. They produce a variety of wines in the mâcon-chaintré, mâcon-fuissé, saint-véran and, of course, pouilly-fuissé appellations. The vines are tended like a garden, following the principles of biodynamic agriculture. The domaine is part of a small group of 14 winegrowers called Les Artisans Vignerons de Bourgogne du Sud, whose aim is to respect the diversity and quality of the terroir.
