This lightly tinted, golden-hued champagne has a toasty, toasted nose. Hints of blond tobacco appear as the wine oxygenates. The palate is creamy and well-balanced, with yellow fruit and nuts. The saline finish makes this cuvée an interesting accompaniment to oysters au gratin with champagne.
