The Albizzi family, a noble and powerful Florentine dynasty, settled in Cassis in 1523 and created this estate, which contributed to the revival of the vineyard. Celebrating its 500th anniversary in 2023, Clos d'Albizzi is the oldest estate in the Cassis vineyard. Today, François Dumont, a direct descendant of the Albizzis, cultivates his 14 hectares of vines organically.
