Château Troplong Mondot
Gault&Millau's review
96/100
The year 2006 was somewhat forgotten in Bordeaux, as it followed a 2005 vintage considered exceptional. It's time to rediscover it. The color is slightly orange around the disk. This nectar has a highly aromatic nose of mature black fruits. The organoleptic characteristics of Merlot are clearly present. On the palate, the wine has a silky, enveloping feel. The finish is spicy with a delicate saline touch.
