The aromas of this deep garnet wine are manifold. Notes of prune, tobacco, pepper... evolve in the mid-palate towards sensations of blackcurrant. Present tannins, coated with spices, give a powerful finish to this gravely wine from an organically-farmed vineyard.

Château Lusseau

Château Lusseau has been a family estate for almost 150 years. It's an estate on a human scale, with a surface area of 7 hectares, 1 of which is planted with white grapes. A former lawyer by profession, Bérengère Quellien took up the family torch in 2000. She decided to bottle and market her own wines, as the harvest had previously been sold in bulk. In 2007, she converted the estate to organic farming.
