Château Lamothe Guignard
Gault&Millau's review
90/100
With its deep amber color, tending towards orange, the first nose evokes another era, that of cigar boxes, orange liqueurs and scones for tea. Aeration reveals notes of fresh walnuts and almonds, gingerbread and baked spices. The sugar is perfectly integrated, the candied fruits are present, the fresh structure is there and a few floral notes brighten up the finish, which evokes a banana arranged rum.
