Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
Château Lamothe-Bergeron is a 67-hectare vineyard located in Cussac-Fort-Médoc, specializing in the production of red wines under the Haut-Médoc appellation, as well as a white wine. Since 2019, the estate has been owned by CAPSSA (Caisse de Prévoyance Française) and employs about twenty people. Committed to responsible and sustainable viticulture, the estate is certified by Terra Vitis and Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) and holds the “Cultivons Demain” CSR label. Classified as a “cru bourgeois supérieur,” its flagship wine, Château Lamothe-Bergeron, is exported to more than 60 countries. The estate is also renowned for its vibrant wine tourism program, attracting nearly 8,000 visitors each year.
