Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
Château la Genestière was first known in the 16th century as a silkworm nursery. The estate's winegrowing history did not begin until 1930. Over time, the estate's wines became increasingly renowned, and the turning point came in 1994, when Jean-Claude and Raphaël Garcin bought the estate and expanded it with the Saint-Anthelme, Les Ramières and Longval estates. They now offer wines in several appellations: tavel, châteauneuf-du-pape, lirac and côtes-du-rhône. Already owner of two estates in the Baux-de-Provence region, Christian Latouche acquired Château la Genestière in 2015.
