Located across from the abbey, this is a prime spot for this young, dynamic restaurant, which brings 21st-century cuisine to a sacred setting. The atmosphere is nonetheless contemporary, with a young, energetic team led by their new chef, Julien Durand, who joined last fall. The approach remains the same: locally sourced ingredients and a commitment to natural, seasonal flavors—though, unfortunately, the evening menus are served à la carte. There’s a great lunch special for €29 that changes regularly; recent highlights have included paprika-spiced egg with mayonnaise, chicken breast with charcuterie-style gravy and polenta, and rhubarb clafoutis.
