Chef's Restaurant The "by Marc Veyrat" attached to the sign is obviously important: it contributes to the arrival of many skiers from the Cote 2000, as well as native Megévans, to this chalet on the slopes. And for good reason: all it takes is for the master with the black hat to do a little more than dip his spoon in, and you're left with the world's best onion soup, a pormonier that leads to ecstasy, a chuck confit on a sauce that only the very best can make. Of course, it will be objected that the daily aim is to feed visitors well, and sometimes simply, with pizzas and the "famous" Reblochon burger, and that the motivated and mostly seasonal team in place is not aiming for 20/20. But in the end, it doesn't really matter if everyone gets their money's worth: behind these two toques for the whole of the work, there are, for connoisseurs, marvels that have no price, and no notes...
