In the main square of this charming village on the Swiss border, Christian and Caroline Wiatr cook traditional, comforting and familiar recipes that celebrate the region's products at the right level. These include a fine rabbit terrine with bleu de Gex and vin jaune, crunchy frogs' legs in a fine potato galette with cream sauce and chives, a signature dish of coq à l'alsacienne with riesling, sloe brandy liqueur, crème fraîche, apples and vegetables, and a reinterpretation of tarte tatin with vanilla ice cream.
