Chef's Restaurant Just a few hundred meters from the Swiss border, this fine traditional establishment is keeping up the pace under the direction of Christian Wiatr, former second-in-command to Alain Bohant, and his wife Karolina Wiatr. It's a cuisine of timeless recipes, expressing a comforting idea of French heritage: crunchy frogs' legs in a potato galette, a little cream sauce and chives; coq à l'alsacienne, apples and plain vegetables; venison back with juniper and grand veneur sauce, spätzles, chestnuts, Brussels sprouts and beet; chocolate moelleux with vanilla ice cream. Very pleasant service.
