South of Colmar, a village inn that makes for lovely Sundays and successful family meals. Set amidst vineyards, the house is a reminder of the quality of Alsatian cuisine, with traditional recipes - snails, tarte flambée, pike-perch in Riesling sauce, sauerkraut - alongside classics such as tête de veau gribiche and entrecôte au poivre.
