Gourmet Restaurant He's been delighting us for so long (the Boucherie de Magalas was over fifteen years ago) that we always sit down at Olivier Bontemps's in good spirits and salivating. There's no glitz or glamour in this open-plan space, just warmth and friendliness to enjoy the day's offerings with the regulars. A gourmet shiitake and paris blond galette, a bit like a tortilla, filet of hake in a brioche crust, zest of periwinkle, accompanied by confit potatoes and pistachio "crème prise mais pas brûlée" for a simple €26 sequence that holds its own. The wine list is exclusively regional, with a performance-oriented approach, with no fare over €23. The restaurant is so successful that reservations are essential, including for lunch.
