Cooking

Description

Simple, authentic cuisine forged by Japanese chef Ryota Suzuki's experience between Tokyo, Shizuoka and Paris. Based in the Saint-Michel district, in the heart of the capital, he sublimates his savoir-faire alongside Elodie Lemarchand. In this old stone cellar adorned with beams, you enter through a small nijiriguchi-like door, as if at a tea ceremony. On the menu, dishes inspired by Japanese traditions and the Chef's own creations, including Kakuni au vin rouge (pork belly simmered for a long time in spices), Gindara Saikyo Yaki (sablefish macerated for three days in miso), as well as sushi, sashimi and hors d'oeuvres. A fine selection of some fifteen sakes is available by the bottle or glass, along with Japanese beers and whiskies. To finish, a remarkable homemade chocolate mousse or an exceptional rice pudding. Delicate dishes for a refined tasting experience. A place to follow on social networks: Instagram (@muku.paris).
