Thibault Jézéquel and Elisa Fostier... A winning duo, he in the kitchen, she in the dining room. Young but already well known on the Côte de Granit Rose, they now manage the restaurant of a hotel institution set on the lovely little port of Ploumanac'h, which you can comfortably embrace from the wide picture windows. There's no cheating here! Our predominantly marine and plant-based cuisine is sourced as locally as possible. The result is a feast of iodized oysters, poached with precision and enhanced by a subtly measured watercress and jalapeño (Mexican chili pepper) condiment. The sauce accompanying the scallops makes the most of the beards, while the seasonal accompaniment (squash, wild mushrooms) plays its part to perfection. Lightness and liveliness ensure a fine end to the meal, thanks to a Japanese-style blancmange that's truly aesthetically pleasing. A rather unexciting wine list. Efficient, attentive service.
