Gourmet Restaurant
In this charming village, visitors will want to check out the Saint-Blaise des Simples Chapel, Jean Cocteau’s house, and—on the market square—the restaurant “Les Coqs.” Chef Émilien Le Normand is in the kitchen, while his wife manages the dining room. In a very pleasant setting blending stone and wood, the chef offers three set menus: a 3-course meal for €48, a 4-course meal for €62, and a 5-course meal for €76. Mussels from Mont-Saint-Michel served with diced zucchini and a zucchini cream with za’atar; a perfectly confit veal shank, served with chanterelle mushrooms and a mirabelle plum chutney; and to finish, a selection of dark chocolate creations and a verbena sorbet. For wines by the glass, the chef’s wife will personally walk you through the daily selection. The wine list, fairly classic, offers reasonable prices. A pleasant spot, distinguished by its meticulous cuisine and warm hospitality.
