Gault&Millau's review 2025

They're really bearded, the two friends who run this restaurant set up six years ago right in the center of town. Fabien in the kitchen, Romain in the dining room, bring their youth and open-mindedness to a short menu packed with good ideas: potato leek soup and black pudding with cognac, bass fillet stuffed with chervil and lemon, lentils coral coconut and green curry, beef cheek confit 12h jus carbonade purée and pickles emulsion mâche. All this is available in a fair-trade card menu at €35, ending with a soft praline mousse coffee yoghurt pistachio. The cellar is still a little thin, but pleasant, with organic wines from La Dorgonne or Gayda, and a good rosé from Val Joanis.
