Gault&Millau's review 2025

They're really bearded, the two friends who run this restaurant created six years ago right in the center of town. Rany, in the kitchen, and Romain, in the dining room, bring their youth and open-mindedness to bear on a short menu packed with good ideas: potato leek soup and black pudding with cognac, bass fillet stuffed with chervil and lemon, lentils with coconut coral and green curry, beef cheek confit 12h with carbonade purée juice and pickles with lamb's lettuce emulsion. All this is available in a fair-trade card menu at €35, ending with a soft praline mousse coffee yoghurt pistachio. The cellar is still a little thin, but pleasant, with organic wines from La Dorgonne or Gayda, and a good rosé from Val Joanis.
