Original Restaurant On the Place Saint-Vincent, in the medieval heart of Chalon, the view of the cathedral makes for a cheerful terrace, even more so on market and summer days. The large brasserie has a taste of happy everyday life, where you can meet up for any occasion. At lunch with colleagues or on a weekend evening, a terrine de campagne au sel de Noirmoutier, a salade chanoine, epoisses toast, poached egg and roasted chorizo, a back of saithe, mashed potatoes, bell pepper compote and beurre blanc, a rib-eye steak with Roquefort sauce and French fries, a crème brûlée with maple syrup. Good choice of wines by the glass.
