Gault&Millau's review2025
A national institution, Le Train Bleu is as much a fine brasserie as it is a monument of architecture and decorative arts, with its absolutely exceptional frescoes, gilding and moldings, immense crystal chandeliers and 8 m high ceilings. A Belle Époque jewel designed for the 1900 Universal Exhibition, today's menu is the work of Michel Rostang, who, without taking too many risks, plays his cards right: fresh sea bream and lobster, grilled sole and sauce vierge, leg of lamb and gratin dauphinois, crêpes Suzette flambéed with Grand Marnier. Nice cellar.
