Gault&Millau's review2025
We used to love this authentic and generous village inn, warming ourselves by the fireplace where the meats were roasting. As the years go by, the economy is more difficult and we have to make a few concessions to keep the dining room full. The menu without dessert is €45, with just one starter (a chestnut soup the other evening) and a main course that's rather modest in its execution, with slices of leg of lamb that are nicely pink at one table and overcooked at another, sauces that are a little bland, correct feet and packages, and a rather slim wine selection where regional wines under €40 are few and far between. What remains is the pleasure of the setting and the local clientele, who greet each other and kiss from one table to the next, and the attentive kindness of the waitress.
