With its breathtaking views and ultra-chalet atmosphere, the Refuge du Galibier, accessible by road, invites you to a unique experience in the heart of majestic landscapes at an altitude of 2,500 meters! Nestled in an eagle's nest 100 meters from the mythical pass, Isabelle and Samuel, who are passionate about hospitality, sharing and the mountains, have taken over this 1938 refuge steeped in history: period woodwork, a zinc bar carved in Milan, antiques, larch parquet flooring... here, the couple welcome you as they would friends. Hikers, travelers, the curious in summer, skiers in winter, gather around generous local cuisine and a touch of surprises: charcuterie boards from Vallouise, ravioles au gratin from Champsaur, a daring yak burger from a neighboring farm, homemade blueberry tarts are among the specialties, to be accompanied by craft beers - including one from Galibier - and local wines and syrups.
