Close to the Musée d'Orsay, a bourgeois house, that of the Polytechniciens, offers a discreet, hushed, confidential table on the second floor to Lebanese chef Nizam Nassif. He offers a lunch menu and a more gourmet menu: lobster, pineapple tomato, parmesan crumble and tomato-basil sorbet, followed by red mullet fillet, artichoke poivrade, vegetable caponata, potato palets, bouillabaisse sauce and, to finish, a calisson, apricot-almond, apricot confit and sorbet. Friendly staff. Too bad the wine list isn't very exciting.
