It's almost become an insider's address, as it's so difficult to find a regional table in the simplicity of local produce and recipes. This well-stocked basket provides what's needed with oysters from the Ile de Ré, crab, whelks and shrimps, as well as grillon charentais, farci and fagot charentais au pineau. Classic desserts, low prices, even wines by the glass for under €5.
