On the square, an attractive terrace to share the Charente-Maritime in all simplicity, direct products and customary recipes: oysters and seafood, whelks in tartar sauce, Charentais grillon, Charentais farci (pig and lettuce), and the uncomplicated dessert (tarte crumble fruits rouges). Sincerity is worth a chef's hat, and you can eat for €30, accompanied by a glass of Muscadet or a local Sauvignon.
