For almost 15 years now, Walter Molli and his team have been bringing this trattoria to life on the port of Nice, almost on the side of a church. Here, Italy and its regions come together: Liguria, with focaccia di Recco topped with vegetables or Sardinian ham, cold cuts from Martone's in Naples, generous pastas, all'Amatriciana with guanciale, homemade tomato sauce and sheep's cheese, spaghettoni with octopus, Tiramisu as in Treviso, rum baba as in Naples, and wines from Tuscany, Venice, or the sparkle of a fresh Lambrusco from Emilia-Romagna. You can sit on the sunny terrace or in the cosy dining room, with the open kitchen at the back. It's a cheerful place to chat with the neighbors... a foretaste of La Dolce Vita. And to keep the party going, the little counter, just like a local grocery store, lets you leave with your arms full of Italy.
