Next to the gastro, the café-grocery is also back in full color and is one of Vieux Lyon's best bargains, with its clean and precise repertoire of regional traditions: crispy smoked trout with sauce vierge, mature beef with sauce vigneronne, farmhouse poultry with mushroom jus corsé, and lovely desserts, such as the cookie corn mulberry with iced Bresse cream. Lunch menu at €32, another no-choice option at €45, and a fine wine list from all regions.
