Description

Trinacria is the symbol of Sicily, the island of three points. Originally from Caropepe, a small village some 100 km from Catania, Enzo and his two daughters opened their first Trinacria in 2009. Today, the youngest, Ornella, accompanied by her husband, continues the adventure in this place that smells of Sicily, thanks to the typical smells of southern Italy and its large murals honoring the family. The arancino, a cone of rice topped with bolognese and stringy mozzarella, is the house specialty. But the parmigiana, eggplant gratin with Neapolitan sauce, a family recipe, is simply sublime. To celebrate la dolce vita, for dessert the chef prepares a divine cannolo topped with citrus ricotta and pistachios in all their glory, as well as an extraordinary marzipan with lemon zest to accompany your coffee. The terrace, with a breathtaking view of the Notre-Dame-de-Réconciliation chapel (listed as a historic monument), is exposed to the shade, a very pleasant spot in summer. A place to follow on social networks: Facebook (Trinacria lille) and Instagram (@trinacria_lille).
