They are indefatigable, and the commune can erect a monument to them, for maintaining, for the past thirty years, a true Provençal cuisine, with heart and soul, amidst the signs for tourists. Because that's what it's all about: this adorable village, listed as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in France", would have very little to offer without the invaluable work of Pascale and Gil Renard in this blessed home, so beautifully arranged over the years. The chef knows how to whet the appetite and give pleasure to his appealing menu, with aïoli and daube regularly on the menu, top-flight products and ideas of the moment always well translated: polenta with Aups truffles, perfectly cooked monkfish with vegetables of the moment, excellent veal kidney, and gourmet desserts such as blueberry rice pudding or chocolate moelleux... Pascale always has the elegance and the smile for each table, giving good advice and indications from a wine list she knows inside out thanks to her direct contacts with the region's winemakers.
