The location has enormous potential: the bamboo walkway in the heart of the tree-lined park leads to a splendid white building whose former stable has been converted into a restaurant, with a huge dining room, lacquered tiles, large bay windows, exposed stonework and horse saddles for an authentic, chic style. Chef Mathieu Garcin brings a little something extra to the table compared with our previous visits, which also gives the dining room more warmth and confidence: perfect egg, celery risotto, poultry quenelle, vanilla passion pudding in a €37 lunch menu, with the evening menu showing more of its gastronomic flair. Elegant, friendly service, regional wine cellar.
