On this square north of Alençon, right next to a hotel and a parking lot, Christophe and Frédéric’s restaurant rounds out the offerings nicely, with a two-level space. It features modern décor and a lovely terrace out front, where Alençon locals can enjoy delicious contemporary cuisine. On the menu: pan-seared razor clams with piperade, croutons, and crispy chorizo; pan-seared cuttlefish with chorizo and confit baby potatoes; squid ink sauce, a pressed dish of confit lamb shanks, vegetable tian, and creamy corn, or even a pistachio dessert.
