Chef's Restaurant Régalade hasn't aged a day, and still attracts a steady stream of regulars who come to sample the gourmet market cuisine and signature dishes that never tire. And even if the abundance and generosity are memories (today, the small piece of pâté replaces the terrine placed on the table in the days of Camdeborde, in the 14th-century Régalade, for the aperitif), the 55€ menu-card offers a choice for all tastes: from poultry and duck pâté en croûte, foie and truffle, to crispy, well-preserved Cantal pork belly with Roscoff onions and comté cheese, served with mashed potatoes, and ending with the unmissable and famous rice pudding with dairy caramel or hot Grand-Marnier soufflé. Relaxed service, affordable wines by the glass from an attractive three-part wine list featuring Loire wines, classics and "exceptional" wines.
