Gault&Millau's review2026
The focus on local, seasonal, home-grown produce, specified in the brand's baseline as "responsible bistro", is naturally virtuous and promising, in a place so beautifully arranged on two levels, like the nostalgic café of a charming village at the foot of Sainte-Victoire. This doesn't mean it's a kitchen, but the goodwill shown by the whole team also helps to fill the house, and to appreciate the menu of the moment, pissaladière-style tart and red mullet fillet, octopus presented as the chef's specialty (why not?) roasted with chorizo and clams, Camargue rice risotto before the strawberry limoncello dessert. The setting, the kindness of the service and the dedication could effectively serve the terroir with even simpler, more direct dishes. Regional and even local wine cellar, wine by the glass from a nearby cooperative at €9.
