Here's a concept that combines originality and quality. Marc Anfray has transformed the former Marly-Gomont railway station into a restaurant, and set up his kitchens... in a railway carriage. The result is a traditional cuisine with a strong emphasis on regional dishes. Once you've made a reservation, all you have to do is choose between mushrooms with Maroilles, Escavèche, local bacon salad, Flemish carbonade or the Welch the chef knows so well! The wines are also carefully selected to accompany your plate, in an atmosphere that the owner wants to be as convivial as possible. He adds: "We're also renowned for the high quality of our local Limousin meat. At weekends, the menu becomes more elaborate, and it's not unusual to see lobster and sweetbreads making an appearance on the menu. And that's to please everyone! Among his loyal customers, some choose La Halle to organize a party, a wedding, a motorcycle rally... Why not you?
