As the years go by, La Girole remains a downtown institution and one of the best places for quality and pleasure. The €28 lunch menu is always a bargain, and the €45 seasonal menu, in the vein of evolved tradition, offers a very regular two-toque cuisine: marinated salmon and scallops with celery mayonnaise, sea urchin and green apple remoulade, capon in two ways, pan-fried foie gras, trumpets of death, royal cardoons, creamy potato jus, Jivara chocolate and hazelnut declension. Classic cellar, good, attentive service and good advice.
