Chef's Restaurant Fine dining isn't just the preserve of downtown Paris. The suburbs, more or less close by, are home to a number of pretty nuggets, including this charming residence at the entrance to the very chic Haute Vallée de Chevreuse. Gambas in crispy lollipops and tangy cream, fillet of sea bream, pumpkin spaghetti and butternut cream, fig pavlova and prickly pear sorbet for a sequence that hits the spot while respecting the wallet. Excellent card menu at €55. Pleasant terrace.
