Description

Cade is a speciality of the South-East of France, a delicacy to be enjoyed at any time of the day, but essential as an aperitif! Baked in a large oiled tray in a wood-fired oven, Cade is made with chickpea flour, water and salt. The Fabrique de Cade recipe is the result of solid family know-how, handed down from generation to generation since 1988. It's this know-how that gives rise to an authentic recipe, for a Cade prepared right in front of the customer. Served in trays and sold by weight, the beautiful golden galette, crispy on top and soft inside, becomes, with a little salad, a gourmet plate, rich in protein, gluten-free and 100% vegan. All in all, a healthy treat! The friendly team at Fabrique de Cade don't forget dessert either, offering a delicious sweet variant. These specialties, enjoyed in the region for some 200 years, can be discovered Tuesday to Sunday from 9am to 1pm and from 4pm to 6pm at the Cours Lafayette market in Toulon.
