A visit to La Cuisine de Billy is an opportunity to experience the friendship between Xavier—the founder and former sous chef at top restaurants—Thomas, a market gardener native to Arles, and a pastry chef with 10 years of experience at renowned establishments. In their cozy spot across from the arena, they take pleasure in offering you gourmet flavors: from generous pizzas (Editor’s note: try the Regina or the 5-Cheese!) to traditional dishes from days gone by or from around the world: roast veal with honey-candied peaches; roast lamb with bay leaf and rosemary; sea bass with chorizo; beef with onions… “My grandmothers’ cookbooks reign supreme in the kitchen,” Xavier says with emotion. Of course, every meal ends with a simply delicious dessert! The reason we love La Cuisine de Billy so much is that everything is made from scratch with care using the wonderful produce from their sustainably farmed garden, that their welcome is warm, and that these wonderful experiences come at reasonable prices.
