Place du Marché, a tastefully renovated 19th-century inn with waxed parquet flooring, stone walls and a white ceiling studded with spotlights. Elisabeth, the chef's wife, offers a warm welcome, while her husband Johann Grisot serves up a well-crafted cuisine based on seasonal produce: fresh tuna tartare, cabbage and granny apple, pollack, tomato carpaccio, mashed potato before the gourmet creamy rice pudding, crispy puffed rice and salted butter caramel. Small, classic cellar and friendly, attentive staff.
